Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, consisting of a vaulted oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central destroyer cutting through waves, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Rudolf Souval, Vienna, measuring 44. 90 mm (w) x 52. 96 mm
